I'm not sure what to say...

That was definitely unexpected... very nicely played. =D

You're such a Romantic...

I was wondering when part 2 would come out. (Thanks for putting the prequel in this animation as well. It helps it flow better.)

As usual, you did an awesome job and never brought down expectation. All the concepts that you had in your animation were as clear as crystal, at least to me. Both characters were portrayed accordingly to how their personalities were (I figured that you based Glenn off yourself since that's how you are in your other animations). Some of the other characters you threw in there, i.e. the teacher, weren't actually necessary but after reading the scrap book I can see why you did.

Your story line was superb. The characteristics of the scenes and additional characters were smooth and complimentary. The beginning was slow and simple (as it should be since you have to build to your climax) and was very homey. As the animation progressed the speed of it ascended as well. You had many viewers climbing up the steep hill with you but instead of all of us rolling down to the finish you walked us through it and "held our hands" in the process (if that seems confusing just say so).

And your music... It was awesome and you choose appropriate music for appropriate scenes. I enjoyed it. =D

Phew... I wrote a plethora* of comments. I must really like it. You're a sweet-heart at heart. The theme was sweet and simple.

Thanks again.

P.S. This time I'm not just rambling. K.I.S.S. (Keep Is Simple Stupid) must be your style, and it works marvelously for you. I am curious about the pants though. =]
*plethora, for those who don't know, means alot

Bobert-Rob responds:

Hah, yeah, I suppose there's a part of me that is. I'm so glad I went ahead and did this idea, as it really came out beautifully. Glenn is somewhat based on myself, if only a simpler version of myself. And yeah, some of the background characters weren't really needed, but it did help set the background up. Also, if I ended up turning this into a series or show or whatever, it'd be a nice way to say "Hey, I remember those guys, they were hanging out in the background!". Most of them are concepts for a more complex storyline if I ever get the time to make it. And, uh, the pants are more or less a nod to the girl who inspired this animation in the first place. Thanks for watching!

The Unfortunate Truth....

You definitely stated the obvious with this one unfortunately. You showed the true side of this situation and "what really seemed to have happened between the two". It's sad really...

You portrayed the situation in a very comical way and the animation was flawless. The sound effects were perfectly used and the idea/concept was portrayed nicely.

The only thing I think you should have done was added Jimmy Kimmel.... he was part of this despite NOTHING actually happened to him.. But other than that nice job.

celebribaby responds:

yeah- our "schtick" I guess is that... most of these little celebrity dramas always end the same way... somebody cries like a baby. lol.

Funny...

I wasn't too sure on what was going on until the end but it was funny. Not exactly like "i'm going to shit my pants" funny (see what i did there :X) but it was quite amusing and very entertaining.
The story line was great and really did have a good climax. The music was complimentary and and the animation was pretty good.

Kudos

Again you impress me...

I LOVE your sense of humor! You always seem to make me laugh. I do have to say though, this is the trippiest (that's not even a word) animation that you have created... to my knowledge anyways. It's not extreme trippy but you catch my drift, I hope. I'm ecstatic that you decided to stick to your trade mark animation style, most animators are trying to change up how they do things and most end up failing. You on the other hand seem to be "updating" YOUR animtion style instead.

Thanks For the Laughs

P.S. I just kept rambling on because I had a keyboard in front of me. :D

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well, I'm always trying to make my stuff work and flow better with each release, that's been my goal since day one. I'm glad you enjoyed this episode, lets hope I continue progressing on this note. And yeah, the dream sequence was pretty crazy, huh? The good kind of crazy, though. Thanks for watching!

Wow...

Simply superb. Nothing like I've ever seen on Newgrounds. I can definitely see you pored over this animation. It's very intricate without a storyline. Most animators find it hard to create an animation without one and struggle to find what you have obviosly have achieved.
The colour scheme was very complimentary to the music, not once did it contrast from it nor did it seem off beat. The variations that came into play as the animation progressed were different and seemed to share an emotion of there own while maintaining simple serenity.
The soundtrack that was chosen to accompany the animation was marvelous. It never lacked in quality or rhythm. It's very tranquil and easy to listen to over and over again. Like most songs, it kept a steady and repetitive beat. The only thing is, most songs seem to lack the quality of not sounding repetitive, this one on the other hand does have that quality. You faintly notice it and are actually quite soothed by it, giving it almost a homey feeling.
This is a masterpiece in it's own category. Simply authentic and pure imagination created this, and I have a feeling this is not the end of such beauty. Again, I give you sincerest appreciation. This is wonderful... good job.

I want to know more!!!

I've seen every work that Adam Phillips has created on this site and always wonder about Bitey. I'm curious on how the conclusion will turn out. You leave my mind with an ellipse that craves for more. You are a fantastic artist and I give many kudos to you and your partners in crime (laughs). It's always been visually stunning, practically flawless animation flow, high quality sound and awe-inspiring story boards that constantly echo through out the countless passageways of our memories. Amazing job as usual. =D

HE-LAIR-E-US....

THAT WAS FREAKIN' HISTERICAL!!! The Only question i have is why the giraffe makes an elephant noise..... just curious haha XD

Dear God...lol

Not exactly what i would call great but with the simplicity of this it wasn't too bad.. Need to put some more effort to it and you might get better ratings. =]

turtleco responds:

well it isn't "great" but believe it or not I put quite a lot of effort into this. Do you have any idea how long it takes to color in an FBF of smoke?

lol, thanks for the review. But the main point of it isn't ratings... it's K-guare!!!

Not bad...

The flow of the animation could have been better and the audio as well. Other than those to things not bad.. not bad at all =]

So.... a little step back in my art career and tons of disapproval but eventual someone will like me.
